After 40 years of Super 8, 1965 – 2005, Super 8 Kodachrome will be no more. Kodak

has guaranteed it will process Kodachrome for one year ending May 9 2006. If you
have been keeping Kodachrome in the fridge now is the time to use it! More details

Kodak have replaced Kodachrome with Kodak Elite Chrome for 35mm slides and a
new Super 8 Ektachrome both using the less expensive E-6 processing.
Fuji Single 8 News Also 40 years old this year (1965 – 2005)
If you still have Single 8 films with a mailing bag and receipt, then finish of the film, and
send it in, Fuji will still honor processing even though it's out of date

10th Canberra Short Film Festival
The Canberra Short Film Festival is a national short film festival open to all short film-
makers in Australia. The festival will be held over 21 - 23 October 2005 at the National
Museum of Australia.
There are four competitions: National, Canberra, Youth (25 & under) and Youth
(Schools). There are cash prizes in each category.
The closing date for submission is September 1st, 2005.
