           8 X 8 WORKSHOP “PROCESSING Single 8 & Super 8 Kodachrome Sound
           Movie Film” into Black & White
           Afternoon Session 1pm to 4pm
           The Workshop will include information about types of Movie Cameras available, how to use
           your camera, covering technical subjects like Animation, slow motion, different 8mm film stocks
           available, and Lighting techniques. With Rodney Bourke, from Albury-Wodonga, Moving Image
           Coalition and Writer for UK International Movie Making Magazine. This workshop will include
           all students using an 8mm camera, which is provided on the day, in a scripted film. Then Hand

           Processed, also a 2  8mm Film, will be made including Scratching, Hand Colouring and
           Drawing on film. The Experiemental results will then be screened. And students will receive a
           DVD copy of their films made on the day. With Edward Nicielnik owner of Giant Reel, and an
           avid Film Collector and Transfer Professional.

           SCREENINGS OF SHORT FILMS BY 8mm FILMMAKERS
            Program Will Include Results from 8X8 Experiemental Film Festival Workshop & other
           x  Australian and Overseas Filmmakers:
           & Screening Widescreen & 3-D 8mm films        ( 3-D Glasses Provided)
           Chilternwood Studios, Knee Bone Lane, Chiltern, VIC.

               Once screenings are finished, Visitors can enjoy a TOUR of the  Film &

            Directions to Venue : Take Chiltern Exit from Freeway, turn left immediately before
            Railway Crossing, into Railway Access Rd. About 800m, 2nd on the left, turn down
            Kneebone Lane, 1st house on the right, look for the large building and radio tower.
                 Only 900m from Chiltern Railway Station.Chiltern is 20mins between
                Albury/Wodonga and Wangaratta, and only 2.5 from Melbourne North.

                              V-Line stops at Chiltern Railway.
