Help needed with

Hokushins

I was recently given two surplus Hokushin Xenon
16mm X-500H projectors. They have been in stor-

age for anything from 10 to 20 years. The light in
one of them can not be dimmed to enable films to be

threaded. In the other, although the motor works, it
drove the reels and sprocket wheels very slowly, then
not at all. If you can help me solve either or both of

these problems please contact me.
Although I have downloaded 3 pages of Ho-
kushin promo & specifications I have not managed

to find manuals or service books.
