On this day in 1940, Bugs Bunny made his first official appearance in a Merrie
        Melodies cartoon.

While a similar-looking character appeared in a previous Warner Bros. short, cartoon
historians say this was the first cartoon in which he exhibited the laid-back Bugs Bunny
attitude, uttering his "What's Up, Doc?" catchphrase for the first time.

Can you spot the problem with this
                                        16 mm film?

I came across it recently on a reel of
music numbers from the 1951 ver-

Hint: The film projects well, it’s in
colour and the sound is great, but!

So, I ended up with another piece out of frame splice, which was not noticed for has been copied from a 35 mm print which had an remainder of the films is fine. It would seem that it
