Deceased Collector

It is with sadness the we record the death of long-time Reel Deals sub-
scriber DOUGLASS BULL. Doug died at the end of October after a
long battle with cancer. Doug was a keen film collector and had be-
come friends with many RD subscribers over the years. Our condolenc-
es to his wife and his daughter Suzie.

Designed and made in England, these
machines saw a great deal of use in pro-
viding screen entertainment and instruc-
tion for the forces during the war.

They were also made in Australia under
licence by Precision Engineering Coy
Pty Ltd in Sydney.

The advertisement at right shows them
being advertised by Edgar V Hudson of
Brisbane in 1939.
