16mm FEATURE FILMS FOR SALE.
“SING YOU SINNERS” Bing Crosby, Fred MacMurray, Donald O'Connor. This is
one of Bings best films of the 30s. It gave him a great chance to show off his abilities
and several big selling hits. $60.00
“PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” 1943. Claude Rains, Nelson Eddy, Susanna Foster.
When Universal decided to remake Lon Chaney's silent version of the 'Opera', sound
opened up a rather obvious vista for the film and having Nelson Eddy to sing several
arias shows him up in a much better light than M.G.M. Did. Wonderful stuff!
$45.00
“O'HENRY'S FULL HOUSE” 1952. John Steinbeck introduces 5 outstanding &
interesting stories from 5 different directors: Howard Hawks, Henry Hathaway, Henry
Koster, Jean Negulesco & Henry King. Cast: Charles Laughton, Anne Baxter, Marilyn
Monroe, Richard Widmark, David Wayne, Jean Peters, Farley Granger, Jeanne Crain
and some familiar faces in bit parts. $60.00
“BLOSSOMS IN THE DUST” 1941. Greer Garson Walter Pidgeon, Marsha Hunt.
What a winner this was!...and the dialogue, 'There are no illegitimate children, just
illegitimate adults. This is a powerful story based on fact. The print is pink with some
yellows and in excellent condition. $22.00
“BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE” 1972. Goldie Hawn, Edward Albert, Eileen Heckart.
Goldie is funny, tragic, serious and as endearing as she could possibly be as the wacky
new girl in town. I am not sure of the colour, as the story is set mainly indoors, so let me
say this, it has lots of yellow in it and is quite presentable. Excellent condition. $40.00
