GS8D & HMD 2020 CALL FOR ENTRIES (Deadline 01/10/20)
DVD & Digital File can be sent in NTSC or PAL, but must originate from Super 8 transfer.
( any original Super 8 Films must be registered by Post, to avoid being lost). NO ENTRY
CHARGE, but if you want your Disc, Card/Stick or Films returned then you must send
stamps or International Postal Coupons for Return Postage. Entries not returned will
be put into the Moving Image Coalition Archives.

Super 8 WORKSHOP “PROCESSING Super 8 Sound KODACHROME Movie Film” and
Tri-X Black & White.

Afternoon Session 1pm to 3pm
The Workshop will include information about types of Movie Cameras available, how
to use your camera, covering technical subjects like Animation, slow motion, different
film stocks available, and Lighting techniques. This Workshop will include all students
using a Super 8 camera, which is provided on the day. Then Hand Processing, into
Black & White. The Experimental results will then be screened. Students are
encouraged to bring their own 8mm camera and Exposed 8mm Kodachrome 40 or
B/W Film to be processed. All involved will receive a DVD copy of their films made on
the day.

Evening Session 4pm to 6pm and Repeat 7pm to 9pm
