Has anybody

seen this

before?

This relic is from the
Regent Theatre, dating
back to the 1930’s.

It is apparently one of two and
both I’m told were used to
straddle an entrance or doorway
or perhaps a staircase.

I’m curious to know more about
it… perhaps you’ve seen it
during a visit to the Regent in it’s
early days…. where it was
placed, what was its function or
even what it might be called.

And where is the other one?
