"VOODOO TIGER" Directed by Spencer Gordon
Bennett. Jungle Jim, Johnny Weissmuller, gets involved
with a fugitive Nazi Karl Werner aka Col. Heinrich
Schultz, as well as a gang of hoodlums out to get him. Not
because of Schultz's war record but because of him having
hid over $2,000,000.10 in art works that he smuggled out
of Europe after the war and hid somewhere on the African
Continent. Before we ever even get to know about Schultz
there's this Voodoo jungle cult headed by their witch
doctor worshiping a magical Voodoo Tiger in darkest
Africa. Action packed from start to finish and of coarse
there is the funny stuff with Tamba. Sacrificed at $60.00.
"BACHELOR IN PARADISE" This Bob Hope movie
revels in the 60s suburban life style and the fact even the
middle class was shrugging off stuffy Victorian sexuality.
But within a setting of Bob Hope's dry humor, lots of hot
60s women, the BIG cars, the ranch style canyon
subdivision houses - and the consumptive 60s lifestyle.
Gotta love it on nostalgia value alone but as one of the
better Hope 60s comedies, peppered with his slick double entendre one-liners bounced off a bevy
of Hollywood hotties, it's a winner as well. Co-starring Lana Turner.
                                                    Good colour. $60.00.
"I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS" 1 hour 50 mins. Darling Doris Day is fantastic in this almost
forgotten gem of a musical. "I'll See You In My Dreams" is one of the many songs that lyricist
Gus Kahn had a hand in writing during the first half of the 20th Century. You couldn't possibly
have gotten all the titles, and fairly well known ones at that, into a nearly two hour picture though
Warner Brothers certainly gave it a try. Danny Thomas plays Gus and Doris as his wife Grace.
When this film was being made Grace was still alive and assisted with the story, Gus had died
15 years previous, so their were no arguments to the story line. $60.00
"DO YE KEN JOHN PEEL" A British adventure made at Twickenham Studios. They have
thrown everything into this yarn. On returning from the Napoleonic wars, Major John Peel
renews his acquaintance with Lucy and learns that the man she is to marry already has a wife!
Egads!! He also learns that the cad cleaned out Lucy's father of money & mansion in a crooked
gambling game. The bounder! Major Peel takes to the road to become a highwayman to save
Lucy???. A good old fashioned sword duel on a magnificent stair case will sort things out.
Stars John Garrick, Stanley Holloway (My Fair Lady). The film was
released in the USA as "Captain Moonlight". A steal at $25.00.

"THE DESERT SONG" b&w. This was Warner Bros. biggest hit of
the year. In all other versions, including the original stage play, the
Riffs are battling the evil Sheik. In this version, released during
WW2, they are battling the Nazis. Good print, looks good, sounds
        great. $40.00
"A CHUMP AT OXFORD" Laurel & Hardy. The original copyright
length of 42 minutes on 1600 ft spool. Sound is not great. $20.00
