ANNOUNCEMENTS!

December 2022 marks 100 years since the introduction of
the first practical Home Movie gauge - Pathe’s 9.5 mm.

To commemorate this milestone - the next issue of Reel
Deals will contain some special articles on substandard
film gauges in general and on 9.5 mm specifically.

In the mean time, Rodney Bourke has provided details of these

CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (1953) will be screened at the Melbourne
Cinematheque Wed 19 Oct 2022, with intro by David Donaldson. As well,
the 1956 feature THREE IN ONE and various historic Aust and NZ shorts will
be on the program.
