Press the spring catch 4 and raise the upper reel Hll pporl ·1 to
the position shown in Fig. 2. The spring belt 5 muHL b' in the
groove of the pulley 6, Fig. 2, and the pulley 7, Fill:. 21, page 25.
Swing out the lower reel support 2, as far as it will go, to the
position shown in Fig. 2. The spring belt 8 must be in i,ho groove
of the pulley 7, Fig. 21, page 25, and the pulley 9, )1'ig. 2.
Before using theKodascope it must be oiled, see pagc'H :~I ancl32.
See that the film track is clean before each show, H<'<' page 34.
Screw the plug at the end of the cord attached l.o l,hc Koda-
scope, into any electric service socket which is conlH'eLrd Lo a line
of 105 to 125 volts, either A. C. or D . C. If it is nol, known what
voltage your line carries, inquire of your local el '<:Lricad service
company. If there is a switch in the service sockol., turn it on.
The motor switch 33, Fig. 2, on the Kodascope, rn11HI. be at the
word "OFF." The motor switch 33, when pushed l.o " ON," lights
the lamp and starts the motor at the same time.
