& AUCTION WELL ATTENDED

Estimates suggest that close to 100 people attended this recent CINEMA
AND THEATRE HISTORICAL SOCIETY event. The last Sunday of July has
become a fixture in the Melbourne Film Collectors’ callender.
There were good quantities of films, posters, equipment and memorabelia
on hand and many items changed hands by direct table sales during the
morning.
At 11.00am, the popular auction commenced with a bumper number of
lots on offer. I think it fair to say, both buyers and sellers went away
pleased.
