RETIREMENT!

Well it has finally happened to me – after 52 years in the industry and 37 years
as operator of the largest electronics repair business in Geelong, I have retired.

The changes in the industry brought about by manufacturers’ policy changes
and a general trend not to repair, but to replace products with new, made the
business unviable.

I am told that I will now have lots of time to pursue other interests, like hobbies
and travel. We will see!

To that end, please note:
Those of you who occasionally phone me at work, the phone will no longer be
answered and the FAX number that has been shown in previous editions of RD
is no longer being monitored.

The preferred method of receiving advertisements for RD is by e-mail – the
results are far superior to fax anyway. If email is not available, post becomes
the only other option.
