Thank you to everyone who called, wrote or emailed with comments on the color section
in the last edition. The color film article with the enhancement of color printing seems to
have made quite an impact.

There is more in this edition. Thanks to Jürgen Kellermann from Adelaide, we have
another three pages of information, this time on Agfa Color Film and the various
derivatives from it. As well I have added a page on Technichrome and some information
on SolarChrome, and Australian color process.
There is also an incentive from well known film collector and historian, David Donaldson
of Adelaide to anyone who cares to provide more information of color film types, color
fade, or in deed any aspect of color film collecting.
Articles for publication of even just pictures of interest are always welcome.

More Color?
As much as I would like to be able to say it will be a regular feature of RD, the cost of
printing a page in color works out to be about 4 times the normal black and white rate.
The last edition was done as a special edition to commemorate 20 years of this little
magazine. To continue to print even a small number of pages in color would mean an
big increase in subscription rates would be necessary. Where an occasional color page
is warranted to enhance the images, it may be possible if the budget allows. I notice
quite a few of the advertisers provide copy which includes color pictures. I will obtain a
price from the printer for one-off color pages, should anyone want to enhance their
advertisement.
