        ADVERTISING:
        Most of us know what shape a cinema screen is like. In printing terms it is called ‘landscape’
        format. Advertisements submitted in that format have to be either reduced in size or printed
        sideways. Either of these formats are not ideal - so its up to you to ensure your ad will fit
        an A5 page in ‘portrait’ format and retain its readability.

        Do not forget your contact details – the minimum requirement is your phone number
        including the area code AND your city. But why not make it a friendly experience to
        contact YOU – make sure you include at least your first name and your location.
        Please remember, not everyone has email - a phone number is required.
           SUBSCRIBERS ARE ENTITLED TO ONE FREE PAGE OF ADVERTISING
                       PER EDITION - ADDITIONAL PAGES $10.00

        REPEAT ADS:
        The RD policy is that all ads are submitted with the understanding that they will run in
        the next edition ONLY. If you want to re-run your ad, it’s up to YOU to resubmit it, but
        remember, RD is a subscription magazine and is read by pretty much the same people
        each edition. Repeating the same ad edition after edition may produce disappointing
        results. A fresh advertisement will attract more eyes!

        The close off for RD advertising has been changed to the last day of the month preceding
        publication. The following week it is printed, enveloped and posted. It is now posted when
        it is ready to go. The postal mail service has become so unreliable, there seems to be
        no point in holding it until the Friday to post.

        Please take into account the above before ringing to see why you have not received your
        copy – and remember, the above schedule means that you will NEVER receive RD before
        the second week of the month.
