I have been advised by Harry Moll, that the advertisement in this edition of Reel
Deals will be his last. Harry has decided to retire from the film collecting business
and enjoy his retirement.

This seems like the end of an era. Harry has advertised in Reel Deals right from
the start and (holidays excepted) he has advertised in every edition, often with
multiple pages. As we are approaching 25 years of Reel Deals, that is a lot of ad-
vertisements and no doubt a lot of films have changed hands in that time.

I am pleased to say, in all that time, I have never heard anything but praise for
Harry’s way of doing business. He seems to have built his business on fairness
and friendliness. For Harry’s many customers it will come as a blow to not have
that list of available titles each month.

Thanks for your support as an advertiser and subscriber over all those years.

Have a happy retirement Harry.
Film makes a comeback?

This edition contains three articles about film screenings - the screenings relate to presenta-
tions on 16 mm, 35 mm and 70 mm.

While I am one of the first to recognise the convenience and ease with which a digital pres-
entation can be made, there is something about film which equates to old timers like me as
real cinema!
