DECEASED COLLECTORS

It is with great sadness that we report the deaths of two of our
long-time Reel Deals subscribers.

PHIL HUNTER
Phil will be familiar to most people interested in our hobby, his
advertisement with a movie camera graphic at the top became
a regular feature of RD over the past 20+ years.

Personally, I will miss our regular phone chats and the occa-
sional visit to see him and his wife Lesley at their home in
Green Point NSW.

Phil’s enthusiasm and knowledge of film and his regular offer-
ings of quality titles made him a friend of many. He will be
sadly missed by all his film friends.

Our sympathy and thoughts go to Lesley at this time.

RALPH FINDLAY
Ralph was another long-time subscriber and occasional adver-
tiser in Reel Deals. Ralph died on 4 July 2019.

Ralph was a keen collector and had accumulated a large
collection of equipment and a substantial film library on
16 mm and Super 8.

Ralph is survived by his wife Vera to whom we offer our sin-
cere condolences for her sad loss.
