Gruff Wallace Beery is the towns butcher without
meat and Marjorie Main the rationing agent, who
have been at loggerheads with each other since
WW-1. Also stars Connie Gilchrist, she plays the
lady barber and local femme fatale of the town.
Beery has a hysterically funny scene trying to re-
trieve a rationed girdle that fell into her hands.

“HIGH BARBAREE” B&W. Drama. June Allyson, Van Johnson, Thomas Mitchell.
2 airmen get shot down in WW-2 and float on a raft in the Pacific, as one moans, the
other bores him to death. (Great premise for a comedy) $30.00.
“THE LONG RAVINE” B&W. This is an hour long mid-'60's TV drama, has a solid
cast including Oscar winner Broderick Crawford, Lisabeth Hush and a pre-Hawaii
Five-0, Jack Lord. It also has a script with the usual 'Crisis' twist at the end, and a
musical score by 5 time Oscar winner John Williams. $20.00.
“IT TAKES A THIEF” – ‘when boy meets girl’. 1968 TV, Pinkish, which seems to
suit this espionage/ suspenseful/ comedy. With Robert Wagner using all his talents to
get a female defector out of enemy territory. $20.00.
“THOSE REDHEADS FROM SEATTLE” Techni-
color, musical western set in Alaska. Guy Mitchell, Ter-
esa Brewer, Rhonda Fleming, Gene Barry. The film title
is missing. $50.00.
“Mr. SCOUTMASTER” B&W. Comedy, Clifton
Webb, Edmund Gwenn, George (foghorn) Winslow. A
grumpy middle aged man set in his ways, takes on a boy
scout troop after their predecessor leaves under
duress.$40.00
