• P .. L\.TIIESCOPE MONTHL'?
Issued by
PATHESCOPE LIMITED
BIJITOBIAL
As a departure from our normal practice this issue of the Pathescope Monthly
covers a period of two months - October and November. This method of
producing your magazine will be continued throughout the winter months and
until further notice. This will mean that only six issues of the Pathescope Monthly
will be made in the course of a year, but to offset this, the number of pages has
been increased to sixteen. In this way we shall still be able to acqua, int you
with all film releases and at the same time reproduce for your information
technical hints and tips.
With the object, however, of making this magazine of wider interest, still more
informative and of greater use to all readers we invite your co-operation. Perhaps
there is some particular type of article or series of articles that you would wish
to see in this journal, maybe you feel that there should be more illustrations
included, possibly you would like to see a section devoted to "Your Questions
Answered" - whatever your particular line of enquiry or suggestion may take,
write to us about it. Accounts of unusual filming conditions, production and
projector .problems overcome, anything you think might be of interest to some-
one else should be sent to the Editor. Any articles published will be paid for in
cash, but the suitability of the matter submitted is the decision of the Editor and i
must be accepted as final.
CORONATION
They say it is never too late to mend - it is equally true to say that it is
not too early to commence planning your Coronation film. Between now and
June next - only a comparatively short period of nine months - a great deal
of ground will have to be covered. If you are to obtain a comprehensive
personal record of this great occasion then you should start prepar-ing your
plans now. The location of your shooting, the number of cameras to be
employed, the various camera angles that you wish to use, the length of the
various shots - all these points should be covered long before Coronation Day
arrives. Quite obviously the lone worker will only be able to film from one
vantage point which must necessarily limit the scope of his coverage of this great
occasion - why not contact some othP.r keen Ninefivers in your district and make
a combined effort of this film. A little thought now on the various problems that
will confront you then, will prevent a lot of disappointment when the time comes
around. If we can assist you in any way on these points do not hesitate to
communicate with us - in any case your local Pathescope dealer will lend a
helping hand in solving your particular query.
