(b) T o make expos-ures.
Grip the camera firmly against the face, with
the eye looking through the viewfinder. Use
the whole area of the viewfinder when operating
with the 20 mm. focus lens. When a 50 mm.
focus lens is fitted use only the smaller area of
the viewfinder, and when taking close-ups or
portraits the head of the subject should not be
above the supplementary line marked on the
viewfinder. Start the rnotor by pressing the
starting knob backwards, and keeping it in this
position whilst filming.
]\l[echanism driving knob.- Should the motor
not start up, give the mechanism driving knob
an impulse in the direction of the arrow marked
on the Motocamera. First, however, make
sure that the spring has been fully wound.
To Make separate pictures.- A special attach-
ment on the Motocamera can be used to take
separate pictures (for cartoons, titles, or photo-
graphs which can be enlarged, etc.). To do
this, press i he starting knob right forward
(fig. 10), releasing it a t once. Every time this
operation is effected a separate picture will be
made.
5. Unloading the Motocamera .
Remove the charger and place it immediately
in the wrapping paper and tinfoil provided.
Whilst doing so avoid the direct light of the sun.
