The Pathescope "H" is supplied with a
"Pathex" f/ 2.5 AnastigJ!1at lens of 20 mm.
focus, in the small standard screw (f' diameter,
32 threads per inch).
To remove the lens, turn JJ!e milled collar
in an anti-clockwise direction.
To place a lens in position, make sure it is
screwed right home in a clockwise direction,
but without undue force.
EXPOSURE INDICATOR. - To avoid any
error in the use of the aperture, refer to the
Diaphragm table (pages 10 and ·11), or, better
still, use a good exposure meter, or the Pathe-
scope Exposure Indicator, price 2/ 3.
We . would fllention ,in passing that where
a direct positive (a film developed by direct
reversal process) is too dark, it has been m1der-
exposed (too small an aperture has been used).
Conversely, too light a film is an indication of
over-exposure (due to too large an aperture).
This should assist the . amateur to avoid making
errors with the diaphragm when making further
exposures.
