vVe recommend our set of Portrait Attach-
      ments whith contain  three  attachments-6~ ft.;
      3 ft.; 20 in. · "
The runriing speed~ of the film, and conse-
quently the duration of each exposure, being
constant, the diaphragm has to be adjusted
according to the illumination of the scene
      filmed.
Each aperture-.. marked on the lens II).Ount
admits twice the amount of light admitted by
the one following (the· higher the number the
smaller the aperture) e.g. aperture F. 7 admits
twice the amount of light admitted by F. 10,
and F. 10 twice the amount of light admitted
      by F.14.
To adjust the aperture, bring aperture
indicator on the lens fia ge "e" level with the
white mark on the lens bo~y.

The darker the object to be filmed, the larger
the aperture required (low number) and, vice-
versa, the ligh..ter the object the smaller the
aperture (high number). If the smallest aper-
tur:e 14, is still thought to be too large (sea '
scapes, aerial views, tropical scenes, etc.) use
. the light filter, the co-efficient of which is + 4
       (see instructions given with Filter).
