FOR SALE - Complete 16mm projection system

This completely self-contained and
portable projection system was
assembled by S.J.T. Electronics for
Bicycle Victoria in 1992, for use on the
Great Victorian Bike Rides and has
faithfully entertained many thousands
in some amazing places over many
years. Sadly, it has been superceded by
the DVD and video projection, and is
in need of a retirement home. We must
emphasise that this system is still
perfectly functional, albeit needing
some regular maintenance

Comprising:

2 of EIKI ST-1H 16mm projectors, S/Nos. ST37953 and ST43066, both modified for
electronic optical and audio changeover
Ragone ABS transport cases to suit, with compartments for spools and cables
1RU high 19” rack-mount control unit, with balanced microphone and adjustable auxiliary
stereo inputs (for BGM and other line-level sources)
All connecting cables to suit, including trigger pendant
2 of KOWA 2X anamorphic lenses, with threaded ring mounts to mating rings on
projector lens housings (also custom fitted)
A model M.3 “Special” 16mm professional film splicer (the Italian job….)
7 of plastic take-up spools (in projector cases)
Spare projection and audio exciter lamps, main projector drive, motor and rewind belts,
and several major spare parts, including projector housing components
Collection of SMPTE test films/loops, for anamorphic and sound optics alignments, and
spare leader
Asking price for the whole system is $950.oo inc. GST,
which is about a third of what it cost to build
