After almost 20 years of presence on the Australian market, Eiki Industrial Co., Ltd. of
Japan has established its eighth international office in Australia. Eiki Australia Pty Ltd
commenced operations in Melbourne earlier this year.
Eiki was founded in 1953 in Osaka, Japan to manufacture technology for classroom
instruction. Through continual research and development, EIKI Industrial Co Ltd quickly
developed special expertise in the manufacturing of 16mm projectors. Soon Eiki 16mm
projectors became the best selling products of there kind in the world. The name Eiki
comes from the Japanese word for projectors “eishaki”.

In the late 1980s, in conjunction with sever-
                                            al technology partners, Eiki developed
LCD video projection technology. By the
Mid 1990s Eiki LCD Projectors led the way
in computer projection, with some of the
                                            most powerful devices available.

Currently, Eiki produces a range of over 30
models, which are regularly updated to
keep up with developments in technology.
The range of projectors now includes DLP,
3-chip DLP, LCD and 4 LCD technologies
that go from XGA to 2k resolution and up to
16,000 Lumens. The range also includes
short throw and ultra-short throw projec-
tors, ‘white board free’ interactive projec-
tors, Wi-Fi display, PC free presentations
and USB and LAN display. For our mid to high end models, we produce a variety of
interchangeable lenses as well as optional modules to suit our client’s needs.

It has come to our attention recently that there is a demand for parts for our older
generations of film projectors. Even though we don’t produce these models or their parts
anymore, we do have certain items available that have been kept in storage for decades.
We will try our best to ensure that all enquiries for parts are taken up by our head office
in Japan. We are trying to take care of all our customers from our first projector sold to
the latest to ensure the highest quality in customer satisfaction.

Eiki is one of the few projector manufacturers with such a long and interesting history
that remains in the projection and visualisation market today. Our brand name is
associated with durable, innovative and quality made projectors for over 60 years. We
will be trying our best to grow our brand awareness with the intention of becoming No. 1
in Australia. We have faith in that anyone who has used any of our machines will help us
do so. When you need A-Key for better visualisations, think Eiki.
