At the Group 9.5 St. Gabriel's Spring Fair, London, on the 2 May, a demonstration of
the improved lighting of the Specto was given. Although it was competing with daylight
in the hall, a magnificently bright picture was shown. A number of people commented
on the whiteness of the light - the “illuminate D” which has a colour temperature similar
to daylight.
[ I can vouch for what Anthony says - I was at that Group 9.5 meeting in London, the
brightness and colour temperature of the lamp is similar to that of a xenon lamp, the
overall performance of his Specto was very impressive - Mike Trickett. ]
