B&H Company to “please make a 35mm version of the Filmo”.
Albert granted their wish in 1925 with the design 71 a 35mm “Eyemo” camera that was the first
spring powered professional camera for newsreel production. In WW2 it became the official
equipment for newsreel cameramen and was still being used in Hollywood studios in tight
camera spots 40 years later. I love my Eyemo – and my Filmos.

The 35mm Eyemo camera became the “Work

a century.
