DON''l' LET IT HAPPEN '1'0 IOIJ
If perhaps you have already sent a film and forgotten to supply the return
address, then write to the Claims Department, giving details of the subject
matter photographed, the type of film (i.e. VF or SS) and the date and place of
posting.
FILMS FOR PRO£ESSING
A large number of films have recently been received for processing which
do not correspond with the emulsion details given either on the carton or on the
charger itself.
In the majority of cases this arises where customers have obtained films from
other sources and have loaded them in their own chargers preparatory to
exposing them.
VF film has been sent in SS cartons and chargers and vice versa. Similarly
with colour film. Again film has been sent for processing without the charger
and without any details of the type of emulsion used. This naturally, places a
very severe burden and responsibility on the laboratory staff and since all the
work of punching and processing is carried out in complete darkness it is
extremely difficult to distinguish one from the other. Any film, therefore, given
the incorrect processing must of necessity produce bad results and consequently
a dissatisfied customer.
When forwarding film for processing, please return it in its original charger
and packing. If sent without the charger then indicate clearly on the package
the type of film contained therein.
Every endeavour is made to prevent such errors occurring, but in this respect
your co-operation and conside~ation is requested.
