In response to numerous requests the December competition will onco again
cover the full period of the Christmas activities. Whatever the weathor, hor
is a subject abounding in opportunities for Christmas filming . It provides not
only a competition entry, but also a record of a happy festive occasion- a film
to be treasured for years to come.
All or any of the aspects of the holiday can be covered by your film. Tho
pre-Xmas greetings from the traditional Carol singers, the last minute prepara-
tions for decorating the home, the wrapping of the presents and the delighted
expressions on the faces of the children when the parcels are received and
opened-all these are obvious hints, but they serve to indicate the unlimited
scope covered by this contest. Three cash prizes of £5 Os. Od., £3 Os. Od. and
£2 Os. Od. will be awarded to the senders of the films selected by the judges as
being the best three entries submitted. There is no limit to the length of film
which can be entered for this contest-30ft. or 300ft. each will have an equal
chance of obtaining one of the prizes. The closing date for this competition is
January 22nd, 1952.
