DEATH OF WELL-KNOWN COLLECTOR

It is with sadness that we report the death of long-time and well know
collector Mike Shaw. Mike was a collector of films and equipment on all
gauges, he had a keen interest in vintage movies.

Mike had amassed a large collection of films, projectors and other items
at his home on Canberra.

He also collected vintage radios and lawn mowers!

Mike was a friend to all that knew him and was always on for a chat when
ever we spoke.

He will be sadly missed by his many film collecting friends.

grown and continued to grow

Over the years to what it is today. As an editor myself I fully understand the

hobby that is almost unknown to the younger generation. I know many are
enthusiastic about receiving REEL DEALS every quarter and appreciate the
effort you put into its production.
