• ~~The Shooting Match~~
No don't reach for your "six-shooters" we're not going into competition with
Bisley yet-we merely wish to draw your attention to the Open Award 1952.
We have always endeavoured to a!sist and instruct the amateur in the correct
use of his or her cine camera. This is promoted not merely from the obvious
business angle of selling more camera film but because we believe )hat the
customer who obtains the maximum enjoyment from the use of his apparatus is
reward enough for our efforts. Via the pages of this journal we have offered
hints and tips on a diversity of subjects appertaining to cinematography.
Scripting, choice of emulsions, angles, lighting - all these subjects have been
touched upon. Here now is your opportunity to put your knowledge and ex-
perience to the test. The rules for this contest are few and simple and do not
debar anyone from taking part- cine clubs may also send in entries.
