SUTTON & CHEAM CINE CLUB.
Meetings have now re-started following the summer rece~.-~ Arrangements
have been made for the screening of Members' holiday films. A series of
programmes of Classics have been arranged for the winter season. The 9.5
mm. Comedy is going ahead slowly, but it is still expected to be finished by
December. Ono ovening has been devoted to a practical demonstration of
titling. Any now members, with or without equipment are always welcome.

HOUNSLOW PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY. (CINE SECTION).
Th ro is scarcely a dull moment with the Hounslow cine enthusiasts and if
ther should be, they simply open the aperture a couple of stops. The summer
filming sessions-both private and collective-are being wound up. "Too Many
Cooks" one of the colub films will have had its first screening by the time this
appears in print. It is on 9.5 mm. Stock; one I 00% true blue Br;tisher refers
to it as "our 3/ Sth inch effort".
A very full and varied programme has been devised for the winter months.
There are a few vacancies in this progressive club, whose secretary is : N. D.

FORMATION OF A NEW CLUB.
It is proposed to form a 9.5 mm. Cine Club in the S.W . London Area. W ill
all persons interested in this project please communicate with Mr. A. Martin

ATLAS FILM UNIT.
Formed last year by three fifteen year old Cine enthusiasts. This Unit has
now progressed very favourably with equipment valued at £200 together with
a Library of nearly I 00 records and 50 reference books are already available.
Membership is limited, but those interested should contact Mr. K. Croft, 8

THE AMATEUR CINE & PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB.
On Monday, I Oth August, 1953, the first General Meeting of the above
named Club was held at their new meeting room at Club Headquarter~. 16
Preston Street, Brighton. Among the items discussed were the screening of
the A.C.W. 1952 Ten-Best, and the arrangements for a winter programme,
which is to include lectures with special emphasis on the needs of the novice.
The Club is still open for new members, both novice and advanced operators.
