The 9.5 Lonewo1•kers League

The above named organisation has been promoted exclusively for Lone-
workers in the 9.5 mm. gauge. It is not a Club in the accepted sense-there
are no membership fees or subscriptions. All that is required is that anyone
wishing to join, should be an enthusiastic Bona Fide Loneworker in the 9.5 mm.
gauge in the greater London area. ' ·t
The aims of the group are to exchange ideas, advice and experiences on
practical and technical matters and to screen members' films, with a view to
giving criticism and help on editing, scripting, titling, etc. Contact between
members is through the normal channels of correspondence and meetings by
       arrangement.
Regular monthly Wednesday meetings up to next March are on the Agenda,
the dates for which are given below.
                                 9th December 1953
                                13th January 1954
                                lOth February 1954
                                17th March 1954
These gatherings are held at a venue in the City of London where ample
screening and seating facilities are available. On the occasional full' meetings,
wives and friends are invited to attend. The addition of sound to amateur films
        is now being approached.
We consider that such a group has much to commend it, and we are certain
that it will go a long way to promote a greater understanding of one's personal
films and at the same time improve the value of the films that are taken in the
       future.
Fuller details of this organisation may be obtained from : H. Wilson, Esq.,
