it  moveable,  as  the  distance  between  the  camera  lens  and  mask  holder  is  then
        variable,  and  supplementary  lenses  or  light  filters  can  be  used  with  the  mask
        holder always  ready for  use,  and  in  whatever  position  it may  be wanted.
           The  handle  is  made  of t" brass  rod,  and  can  be  made  to  any  reasonable
        length,  and  bent to  any  angle,  and  is  fitted with any type of grip.  Brass is  used
        throughout,  but other metals  could  be  used.    \  '1.  G.  HANNEY.

          The  enclosed  photograph  may  be
        of  interest  to  readers  of  the  Pathe
        Monthly.  I  have  recently  purchased
        a  Motocamera  B·on  which  there is  no
        tripod  bush.  By  making  a  small  box,
        lined  with  baize,  and  tapped  to take
        a  tripod  screw  I  can  now  use  the
        camera  on  a  tripod.   For  safety  I
        hold  the  camera  in  by  means  of  a
        leather strap  and  press stud.
          Incidentally  the  same  box  is  very
        handy  for  holding  the  camera  fixed

                           t;LUB  NOTES
       CIRCLE  NINE  FIVE  CINE  CLUB.
          This  club  ~aters for those interested  in  amateur cine work whether they  possess
        equipment or not.  A· feature of the club is  a  monthly screening  of a  silent classic
        on  the  last  Thursday  in  every  month,  and  anyone  interested  should  contact  the
        Secretary,  Mr. T.  E.  Terrell,  44a  & b  West Avenue  Road, Walthamstow,  London,
        E.17.,  who  will  be pleased  to give  details of this and other  branches of the  club.
       SOUTHGATE PICTURES.
          Interior and  location scenes for the comedy quiz film  "Have a  Go" are already
        in  production  and  will  be  made  on  9.5  m.m.  stock.  This  film  will  have  a  sound
        on  disc  accompaniment  and  is  expected  to  run  for  half  an  hour.  Preparations
        are being  made for the filming  of the Coronation.
       BIRMINGHAM  CITY  ARTS  SOCIETY.
          This  club will  be  pleased to receive  new  members  at any of the  meetings  held
        at the  Cambria  House,  Hall  Green,  Birmingham  on  any Thursday  evening.  This
        club  are  at  present  planning  the  shooting  of  an  advertising  film.
       DERBY  DISTRICT.
          Comparative  newcomer  to  Derby  area  is  anxious  to  contact  9.5  mm.
        enthusiasts in  or around Derby with  a  view to forming  a  club.  Anyone interested

       CROSSLYNN  CAMERA  CLUB.  (Junior  Club.)
          Formed  in  September, this club  caters for 9.5 mm.  and  16  mm.  enthusiasts  but
        in  the  main,  9.5  is  the  predominant gauge.  No  members over  16  years  of age,
