If the picture is not sharp on the screen. focus the 1\ ocla cope
by revolving the focusing collar 40, Fig. 22.
When the picture on the screen shows a white strip :~ L Lh top
or bottom or the edge of the next picture on the film, i11 other
words, if it does not "frame" properly, turn the framing :ourcw 41,
Fig. 22, in the direction required.
If the picture on the screen is upside down, and if Llw a ·Lion is
backwards, the film has not been rewound. If the su hjf'd is re-
versed, left and right, the dull side of the film is away from the
lens cell3, Fig. 22; this will occur if the supply reel waH t.urned in
the wrong direction when rewinding the film by hand wiLh the ~
Koclascope Rewind, or if the film was t wisted between Ll1 upply
reel and the slot 35, Fig. 22, when t hreading for projci:Lion. '
