The oil that is supplied with the Kodascope should be used in
preference to any other, but ordinary sewing machin or "3 in 1"
oil may be used. In any case use only very small C[U~tntities. A
drop or two in each oil hole and at each bearing poinL is sufficient.
To bring two of the oil tubes in position, the rewind level' 43 must
be in the position for projecting, as shown in the diagr·am above,
and on page 18. Oil the main drive shaft through the hole under the
lower loop guide, frequently, especially when the Kodasco]Je is new. •
Oil the motor at the two points indicated in Fig. 27. Apply a
drop or two of oil in each hole. Donat oil the nwtor at a1iy other place.
After oiling the Kodascope, replace the cover 44, sliding it over
the shaft of the knob 30 and the head of the pin 46, Fig. 25, pa'ge
31, then fasten the cover by screwing the nut 45, tightly.
