Lighting is by a low voltage compact filament lamp - 12 volt 100 watt, with an
interesting innovation. On the operating side of the machine, there is a three position
jumper plug, which can be inserted to provide 11, 12 or 13 volts to the lamp.
The lamp is off set to the film path, with a 90
degree mirror immediately behind the film gate.
The lens is by Carl Zeiss and has a focal length
of 17.5mm, which would give a slightly bigger
image than the more usual 20mm lens supplied
with most 8mm projectors of the time.

The intermittent claw mechanism is driven by
